From Grant Nielsen: I was a missionary in the French Mission 1956-59. At that time, Italy was considered part of the French Mission. Pres. Milton Christensen was aware of 3 members in Italy, whom he went to visit in 1958(?). They were a very elderly brother and sister plus one other elderly lady, if I remember correctly. They had built a tiny chapel as an add-on to their house and held regular meetings there weekly, just the three of them. I don't remember their names, nor the area, although Udine seems to ring a bell. I do recall that the president was very impressed with their faithfullness and dedication, living as they were in complete isolation from the church. It would be worthwhile to check any records of the French Mission to get the details correct.
