From Richard Weeks: I served a mission in the Milano mission '77-'79. President Kimball toured Italy in August of 1977. While he was there, he spoke to us. At the time I was serving in Asti and all of the missionaries in the mission were iinvited to come to Milano to hear the prophet. I have a tape of one of his talks somewhere, I'll try to dig it out. Some of the highlights I remember are: 1. He forsaw many of us doing missionary work beyond the veil. 2. He prophesied that Italy would "blossam as a rose" and the missionary work would at some future time accellerate dramatically.

He spoke to the missionaries at an afternoon meeting at the mission home and at an evening session for members and investigators. I remember sitting next to an older jewish man who was very impressed with the prophet.
